Lithium Battery Description:

As we know, the lithium battery named by 6 digits, indicating thickness, width and length. At this page, it is HLC804050. It indicates of lithium polymer battery of thickness of 8.0mm, a width of 40mm, and length of 50mm. The production process of lithium-ion polymer batteries generally adopts laminated flexible packaging, so the size change is very flexible and convenient, and there are relatively many models.

We can produce from 100mAh to 3000mAh lipo batteries with different dimensions. It uses soft aluminum-plastic composite packaging film. The interior is a semi-solid polymer. The performance is stable in discharge, high in efficiency and small in internal resistance. The safety performance is good, and there are overcurrent and overvoltage protection devices. The service life is about 500 charge-discharge cycles.

Before delivering batteries, we will do all safety performance tests as follows:

  1. Over-charge protection
    At 20±5℃ conditions, after fast-charging, use an external 5V power to charge the battery and last for 24 hours, then check the appearance of the battery.
    The appearance is normal, no explosion, no fire, no smoking, no leakage.
  2. Over-discharge protection
    At 20±5℃ conditions, discharge battery to 2.5V with 0.2 C5A constant currents, then discharge with 30Ω loading for 24 hours. Check the appearance of the battery.

  3. Short-circuit protection
    After fast-charging, use a cable of 0.1Ω resistance to short the battery for 24 hours. Then check the appearance of the battery. Cut circuit of resistance test the battery’s voltage after charging with 1 C5A constant current for 5 seconds.
    The appearance is normal, no explosion, no fire, no smoking, no leakage.
  4. Overcharge
    After discharged with 0.2 C5A to the cut-off voltage, charge the cell with 1.0 C5A /4.6V for 7.0hrs.

  5. Short test
    Short circuit the fully charged cell by connecting the positive and negative terminals with resistance load 80±20 mΩ at room temperature 20~25℃. The cell remains on test for 24 hrs or until the surface temperature declines by 20 % of the maximum temperature rise, whichever is the sooner.
    No fire, no explosion. The temperature of the cell surface does not exceed 150 ℃.

Hazard Warning

Forbid Disassemble Batteries

The battery has protective component and circuit internally to avoid danger. Improper disassembly will destroy its protective function and make it heat, smoke, distort or burn.

Forbid Short-circuit Batteries

Do not touch the plus and minus contacts with metals. Do not put the battery with metal element together in either storage or movement. If the battery is short-circuit, it carries magnified current, which will cause damage and make the battery heat, smoke, distort or burn.

Forbid heat and burn the battery

Heating or burning the battery, it will cause the isolated element in the battery dissolved, the protection function stopped or the electrode burned. Overheating will make the battery heat, smoke, distort or burn.

To avoid use the battery near the heat

Do not use the battery near the fire and stove, or over 80oC. Overheating will cause the battery internal short-circuit and make it heat, smoke, distort or burn.

Forbid bathing the battery

Do not dampen the battery, or even immerse it in the water, which will cause internal protection circuit and its function lost or abnormal chemical reactions, which will lead to heating, smoking, distortion or burning.

Avoid charging near fire or in the sunlight

Otherwise, it will cause internal protection circuit and its function lost or abnormal chemical reactions, which will lead to heating, smoking, distortion or burning.
