Lithium primary battery description:

The 303450/500mAh polymer battery contains anode, cathode, electrolyte, tab, aluminum plastic film and others. We use A-grade materials to ensure good performance. Of course, the production process is the key to achieve well charge & discharge performance. It shall not have expansion, interior short-circuit, low-capacity, high resistance, leak issues.

Apart from cell, we can discuss the PCM(protection board). It is a pre-equipped IC chip and moseft. it is applied to the protection of lithium-ion battery from overcharge、over discharge over current and short-circuit. Its main organ: IC/UI, Moseft/U4. Following is our battery safety performance:

  1. Over-charge protection:
    At 20±5℃ conditions, after fast-charging, use an external 5V power to charge the battery and last for 24 hours, then check the appearance of battery. The appearance is normal, no explosion, no fire, no smoking, no leakage.
  2. Over-discharge protection:
    At 20±5℃ conditions, discharge battery to 2.5V with 0.2 C5A constant current, then discharge with 30Ω loading for 24 hours. Check the appearance of battery. The appearance is normal, no explosion, no fire, no smoking, no leakage.
  3. Short-circuit protection:
    After fast-charging, use a cable of 0.1Ω resistance to short the battery for 24 hour. Then check the appearance of battery. Cut circuit of resistance test the battery’s voltage after charging with 1 C5A constant current for 5 seconds. The appearance is normal, no explosion, no fire, no smoking, no leakage.
  4. Forced discharge
    Discharge the cell to the cut-off voltage with 0.2C current and then reverse charge the cell for more than 90 mins with 1 C5A current. No fire, no explosion.
  5. Overcharge
    After discharged with 0.2 C5A to the cut-off voltage, charge the cell with 1.0 C5A /4.6V for 7.0hrs. No explosion, no fire.
  6. Vibration
    The fully charged cell is vibrated from 90 to 100 minutes at three mutually perpendicular planes with excursion of 0.8mm, and change the frequency from 10 to 55 HZ with 1Hz/min speed. No leakage, no fire, no explosion.
  7. Short test
    Short circuit the fully charged cell by connecting the positive and negative terminals with resistance load 80±20 mΩ at room temperature 20~25℃. The cell remains on test for 24 hrs or until the surface temperature declines by 20 % of the maximum temperature rise, whichever is the sooner. No fire, no explosion.The temperature of the cell surface not exceeds 150 ℃.
  8. Soak test
    Put the fully charged cell into pure water, soaked for 24 hours. No broken, no fire.
  9. Crush test
    A fully charged cell is to be crushed between two flat surfaces. The force for the crushing is to be applied by a hydraulic ram or similar force mechanism. The flat surfaces are to be brought in contact with the cell and the crushing is to be continued until an applied force of 13 ±1kN is reached. Once the maximum force has been obtained it is to be released. No fire, no explosion.
  10. Free fall
    The cell free falls from a height of 1m into the cement floor from X,Y,Z front and opposite direction of each direction. Then discharge the cell to 3.0*n(V) cut-off voltage with 1.0C current. No leakage, no fire, no explosion.

3.7 volt lithium battery advantage:
