Lithium battery pack structure design points:

Lithium battery materials are mainly composed of positive electrode materials, negative electrode materials, separators, electrolytes, and shells. In the layout of the lithium battery pack, the following aspects need to be considered:

  1. It is necessary to arrange more power in a limited space as much as possible, so as to achieve a greater cruising range and reduce the frequency of charging. Any space that can be used is conducive to the improvement of power.
  2. It is necessary to fully consider the impact of the position of the lithium battery pack on the safety performance, especially in extreme cases such as collision and drop, whether the battery pack will catch fire and explode due to large acceleration or severe extrusion deformation.
  3. It is necessary to fully consider the heat dissipation conditions of the lithium battery pack, especially under high temperature working conditions and high electrical load working conditions, the battery pack will generate a lot of heat. If the heat dissipation conditions are not ideal, or if it is close to the heat source, the life of the battery pack will be accelerated decay.
  4. Considering the design of the lithium battery pack BMS management system, it is necessary to consider overshoot, overdischarge, overtemperature, detection accuracy, battery balance, etc. To ensure the safety and reliability of the battery, it must be rationally designed and verified by the market.
